OUR STORY
Gareth Williams founded E Williams Landscapes in 2011 after a career in hard landscaping and horticulture. He completed an apprenticeship at Sparsholt College and gained experience working with leading landscape companies before launching his own business. His dedication to quality, sustainability, and innovation has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success.
Robert Dorey joined E Williams Landscapes as a owner and director in 2021, bringing 15 years of experience in large-scale construction and civil engineering. With a degree in Quantity Surveying and a background in project management, Rob has helped streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and position the business for long-term sustainable growth.

FROM VISION TO COMPLETION
With 20 years of landscaping and construction experience, our team excels in managing every aspect of the process from design to completion. We use premium, sustainably sourced materials and work closely with trusted suppliers to ensure the highest quality outcomes. We are proud members of the British Association of Landscaping Industries (BALI), an organisation that sets the bar for the industry, and we hold accreditation with the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL), which is committed to upholding professional standards and providing clients with confidence when choosing a landscaper, designer, or professional gardener.
HEALTH & SAFETY
At E Williams Landscapes, safety is paramount, and we are committed to ensuring the wellbeing of our team, clients, and the environment. Accredited by the Safety Management Advisory Service (SMAS) and Constructionline Gold, we maintain the highest health and safety standards across all operations. Our membership with Builders Profile and Trust Mark further demonstrates our commitment to quality and safety in all aspects of our work.
We take a proactive approach to training, with all operatives holding Construction Skill Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards and completing landscaping-specific health and safety courses. Our managers hold CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) & Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS) qualifications, and our supervisors hold CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) qualifications, ensuring proper leadership on-site. Additionally, all our plant operatives complete NPORS certification to ensure a higher level of competency and safety in machinery operation.
We conduct quarterly CPD (Continuing Professional Development) to keep our team up to date with the latest health and safety protocols, ensuring we consistently meet and exceed industry standards. We assign a qualified first aider to each project, and with regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety briefings, we create a culture where safety is continuously reinforced. Our use of the latest PPE, alongside our commitment to ongoing safety training, ensures that every project is completed with the highest regard for safety and efficiency.
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
At E Williams Landscapes, sustainability is a core value that shapes everything we do. We are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact and promoting eco-friendly practices across all aspects of our work. From sourcing ethically and sustainably produced materials to minimising waste and carbon emissions, we take proactive steps to ensure our operations contribute to a greener future.
We actively use local materials to reduce transportation emissions and support sustainable forestry and biodiversity. Our designs often incorporate native planting to enhance the local ecosystem and encourage biodiversity. Additionally, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint by using electric-powered equipment in place of traditional fuel-powered tools, wherever possible.
We continuously strive to reduce our paper trail by adopting digital systems for project management, documentation, and invoicing, making our processes more efficient and eco-friendly. By integrating sustainability into both our design and construction phases, we ensure that the landscapes we create are not only beautiful and functional but also environmentally responsible.
